SchoolRock, Inc. Summer Camps
SchoolRock, Inc. is offering several summer camps to suit every interest and age group. Choose our "full camp experience" summer camp, Rockin' Kids Camp, or if your child enjoys nature, try our ScientificKids camp. If you have a "crafty kid" at home, he/she will love our Preschool Rock Paper Scissors camp! Registration is required. ScientificKids™ is a science and nature exploration program for children 4 to 7 years old. With the use of magnifying glasses and the Eyeclops™, children learn about plants, insects and small creatures of the world. Class structure consists of an interactive lecture, open discussion, and hands-on study. Different specimens are studied in each week so children can register for one or both weeks.
ScientificKids™ is a 2-hour drop-off camp held Monday through Friday in Room 210 of the Sonoma Community Center. Parent participation is optional.
Cost: $60 per child per week

ScientificKids™ - Juniors
Our ScientificKids™ - Juniors is a science exploration program for children 2 to 3 years old. Through interactive discussions and hands-on "study", children learn about some of the many small creatures of the world. The playgroup is a held in our studio in a relaxed, "circle time" environment to allow children to be themselves while learning science at a level appropriate for their age. Each session focuses on one small creature and includes interactive discussion, hands-on fun with magnifying glasses, and a story about the creature. Dress for mess!

Rock Paper Scissors™ Art Camp
During this daily, 1 1/2 hour drop-off summer program, your child will be introduced to a variety of arts and crafts mediums, learn about famous artists and explore the elements of art - all on a level they will understand! Class structure consists of open craft time, art education with supporting activities, and a focused craft project fitting with the theme.
Rock Paper Scissors™ isn't just about arts and crafts. Fine motor skill development, social interaction, and self esteem are all benefits of attending this program. The goal of the licensed educator is to create an environment where your preschool age child can explore and develop his/her own creativity in a non-competitive, relaxing manner. Topics include Vincent Van Gogh, Georges Seurat, Claude Monet, Edgar Degas, Primary & Secondary Colors, Texture, Form, and Color Value (Subject to change). Different topics are covered each week so children can register for one or both weeks.
